My History

The TAPEMAN Audio Reproduction Co. has been in existence for over two decades. Thus, the name "TAPEMAN." We began doing audio recording on cassette tapes in the '90s and have adapted and evolved, but still maintain the best industry standards. From our home base in Louisville, KY, we have traveled extensively and have experience with hundreds of conventions from all across the US and Canada. It has not been limited to it, but our work in the industry began primarily in service to 12 step program conventions.

My Story

This work is personal. My own involvement in recovery has certainly made it a labor of love. Some of my proudest moments are when I'm approached by someone who either bought, or was given, a copy of a recording that helped them through a dark time - or introduced them to a speaker who changed their life.

Tapeman is more than a nickname. It's a legacy. Armed with a mic, a mixer, and a heart for service, Tapeman has built one of the most extensive archives of speaker tapes in the US.

A good speaker enhances the already intense presence of a Power that can't adequately be explained. Capturing that energy and reproducing it again and again to reach another spirit? That's priceless!
